supposed to film.

Today we are supposed to be filming. We were going to finish the shot with the wanted poster. We ran into a couple of problems though. I went to Utah. My family has planned the trip for months now. It just happened to be the same day we were filming. We were supposed to go skiing until coronavirus hit. We still went even though the slopes were closed. I was pretty disappointed. I knew what we we were going to film. We were going to film me holding the wanted poster. We had to redo it because our film tie wasn't long enough. I would have to look at the wanted until the person behind stopped filming. The next shot was me looking at the phone. I would wait for about 5 seconds then look behind me and sya "Nathan whats this." Then i would look back for 2 seconds. It would give us a few more seconds in ur film. This plus the other reshoots like adding more dialogue would do it. But since i'm in Utah I can't. It's alright because we can do it over spring break. We just gotta hope everything is still open. Hopefully it blows past. I just hope we don't have to take online school.

filming without in two days.

Today was the first day to fill in the time. We planned to do it after school and drive to the park. At about 8:00 Nathan said that he broke or chipped his tooth at wrestling practice. This mean that he wasn't coming to school the next day. Since his mom usually rove us we had no way to get to Birch state park. Me and Kendrid decided to go to the park next to the school. We got there when a delivery guy said it was a gate community instead. We thought it was a park because it had lots's of trees and looked nothing like a gated community. Me and Kendrid took out the wanted poster and began to film. We finished pretty quick an went home. The next  day we went to birch state park. The traffic was pretty bad. We hit about every red light and the bridge went up. I got dropped off and Nathan was right behind us we went there. Kendrid was already there so we met up with him and went to the spot. We couldn't do the wanted poster scene because we just used the last one. We were going to film the dialogue scene when people started walking by. They were very slow walkers and it was kinda frustrating. We did the dialogue scene and started o leave. My dad piked me up and we were done.

editing blog

Today we started editing. I got into the class and got a computer to start. I logged in and went to pinnacle studios. I waited for about 5 minutes then decided pinnacle studios didn't work for that computer. I got another one hoping it works. That one didn't work ether. Now most of the class was here and there wasn't many computers left. I got another one and tried the same thing. It didn't work. Finally we found one that worked. About 5 minutes into editing the computer died. We were getting a bit frustrated since there was only 20 minutes of class left. Finally we found one that was 100 percent charged. We got on imported all of our film and got to work. Since there wasn't a lot of class left I asked the teacher if we could stay after class to finish. They said yes. We got to work. We put the clips into the right spots. We looked at them to see if they were the right ones. Finally we figured out that it wasn't enough time. It was time to go so we left.

re-shoot blog.

Today we are re-shooting our film. We met up after school on a PSD day to film because we will have more time to do it. We quickly stopped off at a seven 11 and got a quick snack. After we went to the spot here we film. To get across the road we went under a tunnel. Then since I brought bug spray we put it on. We finally got to the spot and started filming. We had to add more scenes to make it longer. The first one we added was me laying on the floor dead. We had to wait a bit because people kept on walking past. Anyway I laid on the floor dead while the camera foreclosed in the killer. The killer will then walk over me as if i wasn't there. The next scene we re-shooted was the scene where Nathan walks over to me looking at the paper. We then do the shrug scene. We made it a couple seconds longer to fill up time. Then I had to turn around a look for Nathan again. We had to also wait a couple minutes for people to walk by again. I then called my dad to see if he could pick me up. he said he was working so he called an Uber  to the seven 11 across the street. I started to run so I could make it there on time.

Peer editing blog

Today we started peer editing. The group we did had 2 people. We got the sheet to write on and started. We put in the flash drive and went to the file they said to go to. The movie started off pretty good. They had someone writing a note on a desk. They also had the lamp on to make dim lighting and it looked pretty good. Then I think it was a flashback and it showed two people arguing on some bleachers. It then showed one of the people walking away and cut back to the person writing the letter. It was pretty good so far. The movie showed the person putting the paper into the envelope and taping it together. It cut to someone opening the door. They hugged and instantly left. They came back with some pizza and the film started to get a little worse. They opened the pizza box and one of the girls grabbed it. She was about to eat it and just held the pizza there without eating it. At this point me and my group members were confused and had no idea what the plot was. we assumed it was some sort of killer but didn't really know. then the envelope came and they looked at it but never opened it. Then that was it. I still had no clue what was going on and was very confused. We helped them out on the peer review sheet and then class ended.
